Jerri Grisham, originally from Mississippi, spent 25 years shaping young minds as a public-school math teacher in the Greater Birmingham area. After witnessing firsthand the challenges faced by families and children, she transitioned from the classroom to the courtroom—bringing her hallmark empathy, patience, and dedication to helping others. Jerri believes her teaching background offers a valuable edge in working with underage clients, ensuring they have a compassionate and effective advocate on their side.
Today, Jerri focuses her practice on family law, divorce, juvenile, probate, and landlord-tenant matters. Clients appreciate her ability to break down complex legal issues into understandable terms—a skill she honed during her years as an educator. With a steadfast commitment to clear communication and client-centered advocacy, Jerri strives to secure the best possible outcomes for every individual she represents.
Jerri graduated from Birmingham School of Law in 2019, where she was a member of the Judge Hugh Locke Honor Society and Delta Theta Pi. She is licensed in all Alabama State Courts as well as the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Alabama. Jerri also holds both a Bachelor of Science (1992) and a Master of Arts (1998) in Secondary Education from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
